June 5, 2004 – three years ago – Jessica (Garrett) and I stood before God, our families, and 300+ guests right here in Warsaw and committed our lives to each other – forever. What a trip it’s been since then!

I am so thankful to God today for three years of being married to my best friend.

Thank you, Jess, for loving me more today than you did three years ago!

Bagged Lunch

We’ve been down to one vehicle now for more than six-months.

Today Jess had a lunch appointment with some of her former co-workers at Harrison so she brought me into the office this morning and even gave me a packed lunch to bring along.

I am such a blessed man.

Our 3-year anniversary is tomorrow, too!

For some reason YouTube decided to feature one of my videos. It’s a video I posted a LONG time ago – August, 2005 of Brennan playing tug-of-war with me at Bob Evans while he was visiting with his Grandparents. It was quite weird to leave the office for about 30-minutes and come back to an inbox full of random comments about this video!

I quickly took down the commenting-ability people had and removed all the comments that made my eyes burn. As I was removing the comments, YouTube took down the video from the home page, too. Weird, huh?

Got a screen shot of the video being featured, though:

Just a moment ago I played the video of my Dad and I cruising in the Mini Cooper on my laptop. Ella saw it from a distance, came towards and smiled as the video finished playing.

Jess said, “put a video of her on there!”

So I did.

When I turned the screen to show Ella she came over to the couch and preceded to PULL HERSELF UP TO A STANDING POSITION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE!

Jess and I both sat speechless as the video finished and when the video was finished both of us had tears in our eyes. When the video finished, Ella sat down and crawled away.

We just experienced “a moment”.
