Cedar Point

Tomorrow I will be riding on the Maverick and other amazing coasters with teens and sponsors at Cedar Point. I hope my stomach can handle all of the excitement and two three-and-a-half-hour trips in caravaning vans. This IS a good idea, this IS a good idea, this IS a good idea…

Wednesday I went swimming in 77-degree water when it was only 75-degrees outside. I guess that’s the perfect recipe for getting a Summer cold.

I’m doped up on Equate-brand cold-medicine and cups of tea from my lovely wife. I MUST get over this cold before Monday when we’re taking a group of 27 to Cedar Point!

Ella, too, has a nasty cold right now – don’t ask us to borrow a tissue – they’re all being used!

Day off?

Today was definitely NOT a day-off! I was on the road by 9AM headed to Marion for the day.

Got a haircut, visited James Dean’s grave (geocache), enjoyed lunch with Jason Denniston, met with the District Youth Nominating Committee, saw my Mother-in-law, and visited with Rev. Bill & June Kinnan for almost 2-hours!

It was a great day, but I’m exhausted!

(I’m up to 95 geocache finds now!)
