After a great conversation on the way to Goshen tonight with Jess, we have figured out exactly what needs to happen to New Orleans and any surrounding town for that matter.
Demolish everything left standing.
Yep.
That’s it – whoever thought it would’ve been a good idea to build a city BELOW SEA LEVEL was smoking something.
And as for the Mayor of New Orleans who is complaining that the US Government “hasn’t done enough” and has committed an “atrocity” needs to be reminded that HE IS the mayor of a city with a NASTY poverty level and that it is HIS responsibility as MAYOR to provide a “WAY OUT” if a tragedy should (did) occur.
Oh, and another thing – quit trying to FIX the levies! Don’t they realize that even fixing the levies is only a temporary fix?
Seriously, demolish the entire city of Gomorrah, I mean New Orleans, and help the 500,000 residents to find jobs and new lives elsewhere. Let the city that was built under water STAY under water! Maybe make it a historic landmark where we can scooba-dive!
