“The Interpreter” was our Friday night date-nite movie. Jess and I went to see “The Interpreter” after only seeing the previews on television and before other films.
Neither of us had heard whether it was “good” or not, so we went in unbiased.
This movie WAS “good”. Minimal language, no sex, good plot, great actors.
However, this movie was just “good”…
What I mean is – this movie didn’t make me want to change my occupation to that of Secret Service or UN Interpreter. It didn’t make me want to read any books on either occupation. It didn’t make me want to buy the movie to watch it again when it’s available. Nothing.
The movie was long (more than 2-hours) and it felt long. I don’t like it when this happens.
Good plot, great idea – could’ve been better.
