I had an eye appointment yesterday with Dr. Nix (he wouldn’t have made it as a barber with that name).

I told him that I’ve always wanted to have contacts that I could sleep in. He said, “okay”. I laughed.

Since the first time I got contacts in High School I was always told that I would never have the “comfortable” contacts that were already available and would never be able to sleep in contacts! Turns out that technology has allowed those of us with astigmatism to FINALLY have contacts that we can sleep in!

Thank you Bausch & Lomb! Thank you Dr. Nix!

So my new chiropractor gave me a sermon CD today. This morning, actually, on my way out of his office after my second adjustment. The sermon is by a Rev. Paul Washer, a Southern Baptist evangelist given to about 5,000 youth back in 2002 in Montgomery, AL.

We listened to about 20-minutes on the way to Fort Wayne tonight where we enjoyed a great dinner with Glen and Natalie Robinson.

We listened to the remainder of the sermon on the way home and Jess and I both exclaimed, “wow” at the close.

Rev. Washer’s message is available for download in mp3, pdf, and even wmv formats over at SermonAudio.com. Direct link here.

More information on Rev. Washer at heartcrymissionary.com.

If you have the 60+ minutes to listen to the message, I suggest you do.

If you’d rather read it, here’s the pdf!

In a word, No.

I have a newer laptop that DIDN’T need the update, but if you don’t want your computer to “start on fire and crash” (or whatever happens) with the changes in Daylight Savings Time this year, you should get the FREE updates via Microsoft.

Go here: http://www.microsoft.com/dst2007 and follow the instructions! It’s simple and will save you a headache come Sunday morning!

Thank me later.

Are you from Indiana and don’t know what Daylight Savings Time (DST) is all about? Get clued in here.

Tried to call my mom this morning to wish her a happy birthday, but found out through my sister that she and my Dad have gone away on a 5-day retreat together!

Happy birthday to her!

For her birthday I’m going to see a chiropractor as she is a firm believer that chiropractics is genuine and that the back pain I have can be cured by the helpful hands of a local chiropractor. We’ll see.
