Today with the help of two of my teens I began the amazing task of transforming our current youth room into something more usable and exciting. First step – remove the drop ceiling. For those of you who have done such a thing before you’ll admit with me that this is NOT a fun task. We found two dead mice in the ceiling and the rotting bones and flesh of at least 6-others as we began tearing out a small closet. Fun times! I now can ONLY smell rotting mice. Great.

This evening is daddy/daughter night as Jess has a meeting with the female leaders of our youth ministry!
As we sat down to enjoy the new MuteMath live DVD, Ella was finally willing to kiss daddy on camera!
Tonight America voted Terry Fader over Cass Haley as America’s Got Talent champion.
The Sheets household voted the other way, but didn’t make our opinion “count” by actually voting on the show. Our fault.
