A Great Saturday

This picture says it all!

After a lazy morning and afternoon we decided to go for a walk.

While on that walk we decided to attempt and walk all the way to Owen’s Grocery Store.

We did just that.

We walked home and ate our “walking picnic” which consisted of deli meats, chicken salad, and cheese!

Photoset of today is here.

Also, you’ve got to see this picture of Emma with Ella:

Introducing BarterBee.com – an online dvd, cd, and game trading website that I am now a huge fan of.

Just for signing up, I received a brand-new copy of Rush Hour on DVD in the mail today. It came from some guy in Georgia – and from the day I requested (06.06.06) the movie to the day I received it (06.10.06), it only took 4-days!

Here’s how it works.

For signing up, each member is given 5 points and $1 credit. They can then use those points towards any movie, game, or album available on the website. Each “transaction” costs $1, thus the benefit of receiving the first $1 for free.

I was originally going to STOP after receiving my first movie, but took a quick look at my own DVD collection and have since decided to put up one of our not-so-watched movies to see if I can get some more points towards a movie I might actually want!

Interested?

Again, if you sign up now you’ll get a free $1 (one free transaction) and 5-points instantly placed into your barterbee.com account. It costs NOTHING to sign up – and you don’t EVER have to use your points if you don’t find something you want, though I think you’ll find something. Each music CD costs an average of only 3-points!

Click on the image below to give me 5 free points, too!

Still not sure? Watch a quick video on their website about how barterbee works here.

Please try this – it will amaze your brain!

Same thing, different picture here.

So my parents are busily packing up everything they own in South Carolina and getting ready to head to their new lives as the pastor of the Port Anne Wesleyan Church in Middleburg, Pennsylvania.

As they pack, I’m thankful that Dad is taking a few moments here and there to scan in a few of the “treasured finds” as he stumbles across them.

I share the first (of many, if you’ll comment and tell him to keep them coming!) picture that I don’t remember ever seeing in my life!

Stevan - Cereal Knowledge

Could I really have been able to read at this age?

I’d like to think I did!

There are a few more pictures that I have to “work up to” posting. They are of me as a child with the “I can’t believe my parents let me go out in public looking that way” stamp on them. We’ll see if they ever make it to the web…

Jess saw this clip the other night on Amercia’s Funniest Home Videos. It’s of a mother and her quadruplets. Their laughter because of something their daddy does is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard:

Also, today I was sent THIS clip from Joy McCallum. It was a clip that my mother had asked me a few weeks ago if I had seen yet. Thankfully, I hadn’t – it, too, is hilarious:
