Tonight I treated my beautiful wife to one of the most amazing visual experiences we’ve ever known to exist!
Tonight we enjoyed the 2-hour DELIRIUM experience. Delirium is the current tour of the “Cirque Du Soleil“. I have been a huge fan of the Cirque since college days and shortly after I met Jess, she became as big of a fan as I was. We have an extensive collection of Cirque DVDs and now we FINALLY have the live experience to tide us over for the next few years!
Not only did we have the live Cirque experience, but I went all out and got us on the FRONT row, VIP Parking, and “Dinner before Delirium” in the Coliseum lounge complete with shrimp cocktail appetizer, grilled chicken dinner, and chocolate-fountain dessert bar!
We followed the experience with Starbucks on the way home and I’m pretty sure my jaw is STILL hanging wide open from the amazing sights and sounds tonight held for us.
Sitting on the front row, there was NO chance of me taking pictures – especially since a security guard was sitting directly in front of us, but afterwards, I managed to snap a few shots of the stage as it was being torn down as we walked out of the coliseum.
It was an amazing Valentines, birthday, anniversary, Christmas, and bat mitzvah gift!

I’m the big guy in the blue jumpsuit. Hear me roar!
Instead of spending the day in the office today, I spent the day outside in the remnants of the Warsaw Blizzard of ’07!
This morning started with Ella’s first snow adventure:
Jess says that this is the most snow she’s ever seen since being born in 1980 in Indiana.

The snow through town has all been piled up in the center of each street!

After a morning at home, I headed out to be the youth pastor I was born to be! I picked up a couple of my teens and we headed out into the wintry tundra to enjoy some sledding and other adventures, including getting the Montana stuck numerous times, playing “king of the hill” on snow piles at church and Walmart, and 4-wheeling with the Stiver kids!
Tomorrow we head to Bluffton for some quality babysitting! Mom & Dad Garrett have agreed to watch Ella by themselves for a few hours while Jess and I enjoy an “evening out” that I’ve been planning for a few months now!
School was closed today and is ALREADY closed for tomorrow!
