Dear Apple,

new.jpgDearest Apple Computers, Inc.,

I’m not sure if you realize this or not, but I – Stevan Sheets – run a somewhat popular (to my mother and other family members) blog over at www.stevansheets.com.

I would like to offer you a chance to influence MY readers to buy your new iPod Touch by offering to receive one at no charge from you to review on my website after I have finished drooling over it.

Please send it to me as quickly as you can and I promise to post my honest (positive!) review of your product!

Thank you kindly,

Stevan Sheets

PS – If you’d rather offer me an extreme “blogger-discount”, I would be happy with that, too – I’m willing to sell my Dell Axim handheld as well as my 40gb black iPod to afford one of these new toys! Seriously. No, I mean it!

[attention stevansheets.com readers who thought he was a PC-fan-boy: please forgive this letter to Apple, but have you seen this thing?]

  1. Dear Stevan,

I am a mac enthusiast, and though it is cool, I know it doesn’t have enough storage space to be perfect yet. 8GB isn’t going to cut it, and 16GB is better, but for $499 not the right price range yet.

On the plus side, yes, it is awesome…and all the things it can do, minus the phone is great.

But, then again on the negative side, they are charging roughly the same for the iPhone now with the dropped prices, so…not really a deal in the long run.

  2. Glad you got saved. As of yesterday, they’ve discontinued the 4GB and the 8GB is now $399 instead of the original $599. I would still wait though. Miss you man! Youth room is looking good.

  3. That would be an iPod touch.

Apple’s going to be confused with your letter. ;)

    But yes…tis sweet.

  4. glad you can you can spell

  5. I have a cell phone that does some cool stuff. I can call people on it, it has a nifty storage area to keep track of all my numbers. Did I mention I can call people on it? A guy at church has the iPhone, it’s really cool, but is an apple product….aggg and has an apple price tag to match. I enjoyed hanging out with you at FUEL. My kids want to go geocaching now.

  6. aaaaa gaaahha gahhhha gaahhhh
