I haven’t been geocaching in over a month!
In just about 6-hours I will be picked up by my buddy Eric and we will be heading a few miles West to do some early-morning caching (6:30AM to be exact).
Jess is preparing the automatic coffee pot to brew me some wake-up juice before my adventure.
Tomorrow also marks my first-ever travel-bug placement. I created my two travel-bugs tonight and will place them tomorrow if I have the opportunity. They will then hopefully travel the country (world?) making people smile.
Sure it’s geeky!
My travel-bugs:
Fun stuff! “Twinkie the Kid” and “A Round Tuit” will begin their adventures tomorrow morning here in Wisconsin!

Okay, I’m trying to figure out what a travel bug is for? Can you explain and cure my curiosity? Something to do with geocaching????
you stink. I bet today you will break the 100 mark easy. MomGarrett… a travel bug is those things he took pics of…. he will place it inside of the geocache container, then people will pick it up when they visit that cache, then they will log it online, then move it to a different cache. It could stay in one county for months, it could be in Florida by the weekend… who knows. Kinda fun, kinda geeky, but hey it’s Stevan…. he is kinda fun and kinda geeky! (thats why we all love him so much).
Just so knowbody gets mad about me calling him geeky… I also have travel bugs…
Jason, you’re awesome–I’m sure Lisa thinks you’re a stud!
thank you Jason for explaining the travel bug to me. Actually, geeky or not, geocaching does sound kinda fun.
