Wisconsin

Jess, Ella, and me are headed to Wisconsin tomorrow morning. We’re hoping to stop in for a lunch-break with Sherilyn in Naperville on the way. We’ll be attending the Wisconsin District Conference on Thursday and Friday and hope to get back to Warsaw sometime late Friday night.

This is one of those trips that makes sense for us in the long-run, but right now the stress of packing up our lives into cardboard boxes makes a trip like this a bit of added-stress for us. We’re looking forward to spending time with other Wisconsin-ites and getting to know people from the district that we wouldn’t otherwise get to meet in a state-wide district like Wisconsin!

Hopefully I’ll find some wireless net while we’re away to update from the road!

Does anyone else realize that next week is our last week in Warsaw? Did this whole “move-thing” creep up on you, too?

Also – trying a new look to ready stevansheets.com for the Wisconsin-move, too! What’dya think?

I haven’t forgotten that next week is your last week in Warsaw!! Actually, I think about it quite often……..

Love ya and are praying for you to have a safe and somehow restful trip to Wisconsin. Be sure to tell Sher hello from me.

Give Ella a big hug from Grandma Lee Ann.

Yes, you betcha!! We do follow your blog and events. We have been praying for you to have strength for each day. I wasn’t aware that you planned this trip in the midst of moving. I can understand that you felt it was important to be there for the conference. We just have to pray all the harder. STEVAN !!!! Make yourself GET PROPER REST!!!

  4. yes, but with so many mixed emotions.. it is difficult. Excited and sad… but proud your following the Holy Spirit. Who would want to hold you back from that??!! Let go of packing… it will fall into place soo seemlessly that you won’t remember how you did it… you will jsut know.. wow, we did it! God IS in control… you already know this. Look at what He is doing, leading and showing you. Let HIM have this too. I know Jess is soo overwhelmed… but that is a woman for ya.. we seem to do that well as our plates over flow sometimes.
God will take it all… praying for you, as always!!
    In Christ,

  5. Catch “Evan Almighty” while you’re away — laughter might help?

  6. Ehh, it’s okay. I think I’d like it better if the front page looked like the comments page, where the text is seperated from the blank-ness with a different color background.

    Yea … what Josh said!
Hope your trip goes well. I understand all about boxes but don’t take Heather’s advice too literally! Having boxes “fall into place” happens only after you have thoughtfully filled & taped & marked the contents on the outside!! Mom and I will be there in late July to help with some unboxing! I’m proud of you, Son! Love, Dad

  8. Uh–I just wish I knew a good method of packing–then I’d feel like I was doing something that I will appreciate when I’m unpacking–if you know what I mean. Don ‘t worry Dad Sheets–your son is too much like you to just throw stuff in a box. Plus, I like the chance to use my multi-colored Sharpies for labeling. :-) Just pray Ella takes good naps so we can power pack when she is laying down! :-)
