Tonight, much of our family joined together to celebrate this incredible occasion! 11 of us under one-roof for numerous hours. It was a blast.
Ella DID NOT seem to want to “dirty” herself by slinging cake everywhere – she’s definitely an OCD-ish clean-freak like her Dad! I did, however, manage to cram both of her hands into her cake to “please the audience”, which in turn sent Ella into a huge tantrum and made me look like an idiot.
Great job, Daddy…
I learned my lesson, I promise.

I want an “Ella picture count” on Monday to see how many you’ve taken in the first year. I’ll put it on IMDB someday when your little movie star grows up.
We wouldn’t have missed this big event! Ella is such a sweetie and a blessing to all of us. Daddy Stevan, I am glad you learned your lesson of never again pushing little Ella’s hands into the cake and making her cry!! Her crying and her looking at us, as if to say ” please somebody help me”, broke my heart!!!!! Oh my goodness Ella, you’ve made me into a real softie!

I can’t believe Ella is a year old! We love seeing all the pictures and videos of her antics. She’s growing up to be quite the precious girl. We feel blessed to have you three as friends. Have a great week!
