This morning I was e-mailed a 14mb e-mail attachment that sent my laptop into a fit of rage.
I couldn’t figure out what was going on and decided to do what I should’ve done a month ago when I upgraded to Windows Vista – I backed up the necessities (minus the fonts – oops) and wiped out the Hard Drive and did a fresh install of Windows Vista!

Now my computer is running at tip-top shape and all I have to do now is scour the Internet(s) for those wonderful fonts that are forever lost! :(

Didn’t I warn you about being on the “bloody edge of technology?” BTW I think I’m going to format my work computer and set it up as a dual boot machine, Windows and Linux, and see how long I can go just using linux :)
huh???
Yeah, I botched my links… sorry. Please delete previous comment.

You need fonts? I suggest browsing Smashing Magazine’s. I used Diavlo as the official font for Pig Roast 2007.
Oh Yeah!
Oh, we had a pig roast in early Fall 2006, but we didn’t know how to format or to dual boot – the machine we used – in order to use those fonts from Smashing Mag! What a bummer! ;)
SO, what about Ella?! Please don’t lose her!!!!
And, SHERILYN ANN, some things are just NOT honoring – to go public with!! Sorry Stevan!
Have a glorious Easter day tomorrow!
Love,
Mom
One of the best places I’ve ever used (and still do) for downloading free fonts (great search and preview features too) is http://www.abstractfonts.com
You can actually type in sample text and have it show what the font will look like as you browse. Very cool.
Buy a mac! It will be the best decision you ever made!
