I’m going to eat REAL FOOD again!

4.4.2007 — 4 Comments

So, this evening we finally got a call from the doctor’s office.

The information: ALL CLEAR.

No problems with my gall bladder or liver that they could see during the HIDA-scan.

So, I asked Jess to fire up the oven and cook me a real supper – and she was very happy to do so! For dinner we enjoyed a salad with buffalo chicken fingers on top! It was delicious! I know it’s probably not the best idea in the world to shock my body with “real food” so quickly, but I’m a bit depressed that there seems to be nothing wrong so far!

We’ll see if I have any reaction to this “real food”, but I’m feeling pretty good already an hour after the meal!

I may be referred to a GI-specialist by my doctor over the next week or so.

  1. Whoa there culinary cowboy! I hope everything stayed with you okay, but can I humbly recommend starting with the B.R.A.T. diet since this has been going on so long?

Glad everything looked good on the HIDA scan, but I know it would be nice to get this all figured out!

Been praying for you. Glad your tests came out okay. I am thinking you might have done well to eat Ella’s baby food for a few days :)

Thank you!…Dr Robin and Aunt Pam for the encouragement to Stevan to be “food-wise”! This very concerned Mother, has been biting my lip and is still desperately trying to keep it bit!

Anxious to hear what the doctor recommends now and what he thinks has been the problem!

Still praying for you Stevan. You might want to make eating yogurt a routine. It is good for your colon and helps put the good bacteria back, especially after the bout you’ve had with loosing everything from both ends! I’d still start slowly with those spicy and roughage foods. Hey, but I’m just your mother-in-law. But,I’ve had my share of colon problems in the past.
