Cirque Du Soleil – Delirium

poster_01.jpgTonight I treated my beautiful wife to one of the most amazing visual experiences we’ve ever known to exist!

Tonight we enjoyed the 2-hour DELIRIUM experience. Delirium is the current tour of the “Cirque Du Soleil“. I have been a huge fan of the Cirque since college days and shortly after I met Jess, she became as big of a fan as I was. We have an extensive collection of Cirque DVDs and now we FINALLY have the live experience to tide us over for the next few years!

Not only did we have the live Cirque experience, but I went all out and got us on the FRONT row, VIP Parking, and “Dinner before Delirium” in the Coliseum lounge complete with shrimp cocktail appetizer, grilled chicken dinner, and chocolate-fountain dessert bar!

We followed the experience with Starbucks on the way home and I’m pretty sure my jaw is STILL hanging wide open from the amazing sights and sounds tonight held for us.

Sitting on the front row, there was NO chance of me taking pictures – especially since a security guard was sitting directly in front of us, but afterwards, I managed to snap a few shots of the stage as it was being torn down as we walked out of the coliseum.

It was an amazing Valentines, birthday, anniversary, Christmas, and bat mitzvah gift!

  1. They’re the best at everything… a tech needs no more validation after working for cirque, it’s the top of the ladder.

  2. We saw Cirque’s ‘La Nouba’ in its permanent theatre at Downtown Disney – TWICE! They’re definitely worth however much you have to shell out for them! An amazing feast for the eyes, mind, ears, and everything else in between!

Unfortunately we had too much going on to try to see ‘Delirium’…maybe next time.

  3. I’m so proud of you stevan!!! That’s an amazing gift!!! The fact that you added all the extra touches is amazing to me – ur growing up! :)

Yes, Stevan, that was an amazing gift. The fact that you took the time to plan all of those extra special touches just for your sweetheart. Other men are probably going to get sick of hearing these words from their wives,”do you know what Jessica’s husband did for her!”(and that is because Jessica is going to be bragging on you and what you did for her-probably forever!)Very good job son-in-law!!!

Oh, and plan more dates, so we can babysit Ella!

  6. I knew I found an amazing man, but my love, you continue to exceed my expectations in everything you do. This was the most amazing gift and it meant so much to me that you even made sure babysitting was taken care of. Just the thought and planning that went into this spectacular evening will pretty much count for an entire year of gifts. Of course, I know we can’t do this every year, but knowing that you wanted this for me will be the best story we have to share for many years to come. Thank you for being the man of my dreams and for wanting to give me such a special evening. I love you more than words can say.

  7. ok, so stevan you have to talk to richie…i wanted to go down to indy to see it but i think richie was afraid. neither one of us have seen cds before but now you can tell him all about it. by the way, nice job stev!
