Tom Brady, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Patriot’s flag in the window. “This house is yours for eternity, Tom,” said God. “This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here.” Tom felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Blue & White sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Colts logo flag, and in every window, a Colts towel.

Tom looked at God and said “God, I’m not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even won a few Super Bowls.

God said, “So what’s your point Tom?”

“Well, why does Peyton get a better house than me?”

God chuckled, and said: “Tom, that’s not Peyton’s house, it’s mine.”

  1. I heard this on the radio this morning.. funny stuff.

  2. Steve and I are praying for your safety and God’s annointing for you to especially form some lasting relationships with some Haitians and have many opportunities to share God’s wonderful Grace and see MANY come to him. Jess and Ella will be spoiled I’m sure while you’re gone, so you won’t have to worry about them.

  4. I can’t wait to hear what Heather & Renee have to say to you!
    Go Bears!

  5. Turn about…
A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Colts Fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Colts fans, too.

Not really knowing what being a Colts fan meant, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, the students’ hands flew into the air.

There was, however, one exception. Lucas was not going along with the crowd. The teacher asked him why he had decided to be different.

“Because I’m not a Colts fan” he said.

“Then,” asks the teacher, “what are you?”

“I’m an Chicago Bears fan,” boasts the little boy.

The teacher asks Lucas why he is a Chicogo Bears fan. “Well, my dad and mom are Bears fans, so I’m a Bears fan, too” he responds.

“That’s no reason,” the teacher says. “What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?”

Lucas smiles and says, “Then I’d be a Colts fan.”
