Dear Global Warming-ites,

Yes we should be good stewards of what we’ve been given (the earth). But please remember God’s promise to Noah which remains a promise to us today:

Genesis 8:21-22 (ESV)
“I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

(I’m listening to a great radio show on the topic right now.)

  1. I agree. God isn’t causing it, if it is happening.

However, Just because God said he won’t flood the earth again, and He states what that would look like, this doesn’t mean that “man” can’t abuse it enough to cause climate change. I’m just pointing out that we can’t underestimate the “intention of man’s heart”. I’m not saying global warming is happening or not. Just reminding you that God has allowed Sin to taint good in the past.

cool,…. what is neat is Chelsey asked me that about a month ago. It was discussion in her geography class and she had a HUGE issue with it. she asked me… “How can any of these people honestly think the mighty flood will happen? GOD said He would not do that again and He won’t… ” PTL!
