PSI (Pounds per Square Inch)

Today after church, my buddy Jason Knepp came over and helped to resurrect the Neon! That’s right, the Neon lives! We put in a rebuilt starter and a new relay switch and she’s up and running (at least for now).

Photos from the Neon’s surgery are here.

After the surgery we decided to have a bit of fun with my water-rocket launcher that a built a few months ago.

After a few “boring” rocket-launches, we decided that we needed to play “safety experts” and find the “exploding point” of a 2-liter bottle and a 16-ounce water bottle.

Everyone needs to know these “exploding points”, so we did the research. I’m sure my neighbors loved our experimenting, too.

Experiment #1 – 2-liter bottle: (127PSI)

Experiment #2 – 16-ounce water bottle: (156PSI)

  1. That is hilarious….Lucas and I were laughing our heads off at your reactions. That had to be so loud.

  2. I am surprised that your neighbors have not called the police! Oh my goodness…
