scary eh! I watched that episode,,, I usually don’t watch her.. however, I got that one. she later commented that particular station being in the middle of the desert charges $4.00+ a gallon due to if your out of gas in the desert, your gonna pay for it. Also.. the 127.00 was for her vehicle and the “staff” or camera men’s as well. It was not just her car. ….

Not that I’m sticking up for Oprah, because I’m not, but living in Chicago for the past 20 or so years, even before she was filthy rich, she probably didn’t own a car. She probably rode the EL which is what I’d do if I lived in Chi-town. Also, and I’m just speculating, she has a car and driver like every celebrity so she has no need to do this. It’s probably a safety issue too as Oprah doesn’t want to be on Lakeshore Dr. at a 7-11. The more shocking thing was a girl I knew in college, a girl many people knew (although I won’t give a names) who didn’t pump her own gas because she thought it was the man’s job. In fact, she had never pumped gas before coming to IWU and had driven since she was 16. Her dad always pumped her gas for her. She wasn’t rich, and she wasn’t famous. In fact, I remember her asking random guys if they would go pump her gas for her. That’s hilarious in my opinion, way more so than Oprah’s little shenanigans.

I don’t get why you cant relate to Oprah, I haven’t pumped gas since 91 either. I have my driver do that.
