Steve Irwin was killed while filming a documentary just after 11AM, Australian time. What a sad tragedy for the man who seemed to have no fear!
Apparently it was a sting-ray barb that went through his chest and killed him. I’m sure the national media will be giving us more details as they come in.
Irwin leaves his wife, Terri, and two children – Bindi (8) & Bob (3).
Hi all,
I live in Australia and it is certainly a great loss. The Stingray’s poisonus barb pierced his heart, causing him immediate cardiac arrest and the medics said he would of suffered no pain. I pray for his family that they will get through this, as the world mourns with them their unreplaceable loss.
