Nissan Versa

This afternoon, I took Jess & Ella to the Nissan dealership where we scoped out the ’07 Versa.

Boasting “best room” in its class, the Versa did surprise us by being a “small” car with a “lot” of room. Too bad the back end wasn’t extended another 2-3 feet for baby-stuff! We drove the “tricked out” black version with everything – including the new Nissan CVT transmission – which was pretty interesting to drive, but I’m already not a fan.

In all, it was a great test-drive, but it’s out of our range being a new-car and all, and the room-issue kept us from seeking it any further.

We’re keeping our eyes peeled for a 2-3 year-old minivan or wagon – anyone got any leads?

  1. HI Stevan,

EBay is a thought, as you can customise it to look within so many miles of your home town’s postcode. Or type ” 2nd Hand car” into a search engine such as Google. Hope it helps.

  2. Stev,
I just bought a Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon. Nice car. Quick. I think the room is adequate for your needs. I think it’s worth checking out.

  3. You can always talk to Grandpa. That is if you don’t mind driving down to Warren. He might be able to hook you up with something.

  4. I love NISSANS! I have an X-Terra and it rocks my world.

  5. A ford escort wagon (got this one for #2 baby on the way and our 15monthyearold. for $5,200 a 2000. Love it, baby room for stroller-no lifting over the lip of a trunk, and more room for groceries.)

Agree with Steve on the Subaru, but wife thinks its ugly, so no cigar.
