Independence Day

7.4.2006 — 3 Comments

Tonight the Sheets Father-and-Son team will be enjoying the spoils of what it means to live in a state that allows fireworks.

I know it will be a good time.

Dad and I have been incredibly busy these last couple of days – we’ve been busy packing and re-packing as well as going through many old boxes-of-stuff. I have enjoyed unpacking my entire Coke Collection that I am feverishly looking for a dealer to take off of my hands.

Ella is doing marvelously. She was SUCH a trooper coming down from Indiana. She slept nearly all day as I drove and Mommy sat next to her.

On Thursday we will be heading to North Carolina to a huge family reunion. Ella will get a taste of LOTS-O-FAMILY – and Dad is borrowing a van for us all to be able to travel together!

I’m not having much success at uploading pictures to the web – I’m currently borrowing a slow wireless Internet connection from a neighbor – thank you neighbor!

I’m glad you arrived safely. If you get this before you get home, I was thinking today to save you time, how about if we switch back cars
Sunday morning at church. That way if you get in late, we don’t have to worry about it!!
    Enjoy your time w/family.
    Love to you and yours,

I too am so glad you all arrived safely. I will be happy to know that you have all your ‘members’ following the fireworks seige! Just don’t scare the baby that she is scarred for life with the noise, since I am sure that M-80’s would be involved. We have seen fireworks from our house – last night three separate locations, from our sunroom. Tonight the activity is on the opposite side of the house. Love to you all!!!
