From the Archives…

So my parents are busily packing up everything they own in South Carolina and getting ready to head to their new lives as the pastor of the Port Anne Wesleyan Church in Middleburg, Pennsylvania.

As they pack, I’m thankful that Dad is taking a few moments here and there to scan in a few of the “treasured finds” as he stumbles across them.

I share the first (of many, if you’ll comment and tell him to keep them coming!) picture that I don’t remember ever seeing in my life!

Stevan - Cereal Knowledge

Could I really have been able to read at this age?

I’d like to think I did!

There are a few more pictures that I have to “work up to” posting. They are of me as a child with the “I can’t believe my parents let me go out in public looking that way” stamp on them. We’ll see if they ever make it to the web…

Dreamer!!! You only looked at the pictures. Great photo, and brings back lots of wonderful memories. You were so very smart though, even if you couldn’t read.

Dear son, Though you ‘think’ you looked like a young nerd, you didn’t! You were a boy and boys didn’t like fussy extras! There were no bows for your hair to keep it in place and the tie should have had a tie tack, so it flung freely, but you were always (99.9% of the time) dressed very fittly and neatly, looking sharp! You all three were absolutely adorable children and many will verify that! That one picture you have but didn’t share, looks like youhad some chew or gum in that mouth!

Always loved you, still do, always will!

  7. My dear sister…
If you would Re-read my post above you would notice that I wasn’t attempting to manipulate the readership of stevansheets.com – I was merely asking them to comment and ask our father to keep the “archived pictures” coming!

I WAS planning on sharing the entire set of archived pics that Dad already sent us, but I wasn’t going to share them ALL AT ONCE.

Guess it’s just the difference between the oldest and youngest, huh?

Thanks for drawing away at least our parents from my website to yours! :)

  8. I’m Pastor Bud’s wife. I just had to comment on that picture of you Stevan. That is exactly how I remembered you as a little boy. I think your little Ella looks just like you, sorry Jess. Im’ sure she will be a nice combination of the two of you. Miss you and all the folks at Warsaw.
