Cleaning up the classroom

Today our family headed to Jess’ first-grade classroom for one final “clean up”.

Ella enjoyed sitting in the “Author’s Chair”:

When all was said and done, we had a carload of school-stuff to be sifted through in the next weeks and stored.

Here Mommy looks around her classroom:

Jess talked about how much she will miss Harrison and the people she worked with. She will miss the kiddos, too, but she is excited at her new role as full-time Mommy. (Even the full-time Mommy of a baby girl that will not stop crying right now!)

Speaking of crying – here’s a short clip I shot today of Ella on the changing table letting us know that she wasn’t too happy:

Hey! How do you load a video clip onto a blog or website? I tried and it didn’t work…and you are obviously a pro at it.

  2. Isn’t that the weirdest feeling when you pack up your classroom and see it completely empty? There’s something very sad about leaving it all behind. I’m so excited for you, Jess. Enjoy your new job!

  3. Yes, Melissa, it is so weird. I am and will continue to enjoy my new job! Thanks! How are you guys doing, Mel? E-mail Stevan so I can get your e-mail address again, will you? :-)

  4. I sooooo LOVE these vidoe clips of Ella!!! I can imagine being there!!! I love her fussing – love her voice, her looks and her motions (she wasn’t really crying)!

    Love you Ella Bella!!!!!
