Look at this proud Great-Grandpa:

We had another splendid day with my Grandparents today. They came over and made us lunch this afternoon – fried fish that Grandpa caught – some in the ocean and some in a lake (crappie and trout).

Tonight they sat through our Annual Church Conference and then we watched the final hour of American Idol with them in their Motorcoach and snacked on fried cheese sandwiches. It was a great evening.

They take off tomorrow morning to head up to Northern New York to visit with my Aunt Judy & Uncle Ken Davis and family. It has been good to have them here with us for these couple of days. We will enjoy breakfast with them tomorrow morning before they head off.

Wow,so wonderful that they got to see their great-grand baby. They all look so good. I always think it is so interesting, in shots like Grandpa with baby, how the baby is studying their face. I know it would look funny, but I would like an LCD screen on their foreheads, scrolling with what the baby is thinking. I am sure that we wouldn’t look and study them with quite the wonder and intensity if we knew all of that. Dear me, we might not think they are so sweet if we knew what they thought of us aliens.

It is time I break from packing (and stressing) to sit for a spell – to look at pictures of our grandbaby daughter – to look in wonder at her awesomeness!

Missing Ella is terrible – even painful!!! She is sooooo adorable and precious! Her smiles and her sneezes and her taking position in her mothers recliner – etc!!!! It is so hard to know what all we are missing!!

I love all the pictures!!! I am in constant grin and I even talk to the pictures! OH to touch her!!!!

So thankful things are going so well and we are so grateful that you all are so well taken care of and loved by your church family! Wonderful gifts/generosity – even from those to us – in feeding us, to sleeping us in their home (Sue and Tom Brackett)!! Our warm “thank you” to EVERYONE – for so much love shared in blessing!!

Give Ella lots of kissses AND hugs from her ‘distant’ Grandparents in SC soon to be in Penna.)!
