Part 1 of tonight’s “in-house date night” included the much-anticipated DVD release of the second Zorro movie – “The Legend of Zorro”.
We thoroughly enjoyed this family-friendly flick. There was definitely more emphasis on humor in this as compared to it’s parent-release, “The Mask of Zorro”, though the characters stay much the same.
Typical “Wild West” story-line mixed with typical “Wild West” gimmicks (train, bullet stopped by cross, guy-gets-girl, good-guys-win) is well proportioned to great acting – ESPECIALLY by newcomer, Adrian Alonso who plays, Joaquin, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Zorro (Banderas & Zeta-Jones).
Again – this is a VERY family-friendly film that will be enjoyed again, I’m sure here in the Sheets’ household!
