Today, I got to ride and then DRIVE this mega-machine:
Kerry Goshert – a farmer from our church allowed me the HUGE privilege (danger?) of driving his John Deere 6620 combine one-full time around the field behind our church property!
This was one of those “wished I could FOREVER” moments that came true! Each year as they combine the field in the back of either soybeans or corn, I have wished that I could have had a chance to ride around WITH the guys!
I couldn’t believe it when I walked out there today and he said, “jump in”!
We were somewhere in the field when he said, “How adventurous do you feel today?”
It was incredible! And from what Kerry told me, I did decent, too!
Jealous?
