On this lovely Labor Day 2005, Jess and I headed to Plymouth, Indiana for the final day of their annual Blueberry Festival!
We were both pleasantly surprised at just how big a festival this was – there were SO MANY booths of both food & “artsy” items.
Plymouth Wesleyan had a beverage-only booth and after talking to their new (8 months) youth pastor, Josh Woods, I found out they make about $10,000 each year at this Blueberry Festival! They sell Coca-Cola products and make $10k? WOW!
We enjoyed lemonade, pierogies, and frozen cheesecake on a stick!
We even had a chance to visit with a couple from our church – Kerry & Kim Goshert were there selling their soybean products! They gave us some great samples and told us the ins and outs of soy-product creation!
We will DEFINITELY be going to the Blueberry Festival again!
