Marriage

Don’t take it for granted.

Love like you don’t don’t have tomorrow.

Breathe like you don’t get the next one.

(this sounds too much like Lee Ann Womack)

I am in love. 100% in love.

8 months, 18 days, 10-hours, and counting.

Come what may (sung in Ewan McGregor style), I will always love this woman who is falling asleep as I type this.

It is a privlege to love. I refuse to take it for granted. I refuse to take it lightly. I refuse to be a statistic.

I pledge here and now, again, to love with all the God-given gumption (gumption?) I can muster.

When I mess up – and forget that she’s more important than me – someone kick me in the buttocks, please.

Thank you.

  2. To be loved by and to love such an amazing person is a blessing that I, too, don’t want to ever take for granted. God has had a hand in every situation of our lives and I am feel blessed and honored to spend the rest of my life with you, Stevan Paul Sheets. God had you in mind when I was born and molded me to be your wife. I know I am not close to being the perfect companion, but I want to spend the rest of my life trying to be the wife God needs me to be to you. Wow! I love being in love with you! I love you!
