Today I removed 8 fluorescent lighting banks, 4-rows of drop-ceiling grid, all the wiring for the lights and we finished putting up all three rows of seating this evening! Tomorrow and Saturday will be “finishing touches” time. We know we won’t get the padding and carpet installed before Sunday, nor will we get the ceiling painted black and new lights purchased and installed, but atleast we’re heading in the right direction! The seating is incredible – it’s solid, it’s huge, and it smells like wood!
Dearest Apple Computers, Inc.,
I’m not sure if you realize this or not, but I – Stevan Sheets – run a somewhat popular (to my mother and other family members) blog over at www.stevansheets.com.
I would like to offer you a chance to influence MY readers to buy your new iPod Touch by offering to receive one at no charge from you to review on my website after I have finished drooling over it.
Please send it to me as quickly as you can and I promise to post my honest (positive!) review of your product!
Thank you kindly,
Stevan Sheets
PS – If you’d rather offer me an extreme “blogger-discount”, I would be happy with that, too – I’m willing to sell my Dell Axim handheld as well as my 40gb black iPod to afford one of these new toys! Seriously. No, I mean it!
[attention stevansheets.com readers who thought he was a PC-fan-boy: please forgive this letter to Apple, but have you seen this thing?]
Tonight the real-fun began as Dan and Stevan began cutting lumber and nailing together our first step!
I took the “skeeter-infested” job of cutting outside while Dan did all of the air-nailing inside! My legs look as though I have chicken pox!
This afternoon I found time to cut a sink-full of mint from our front mint-patch. Jess is currently letting it soak in the sink before she brews our first-ever gallon of Mint Tea – made famous by my mother! Sadly, this gallon will not be shared with the outside world – but maybe you can taste-test the next gallon?

I can’t wait for it to be ready!

4-gallons of paint, numerous paint rollers, 11 helpful students, plenty of iPod tunes, lunch @ McDonalds and about 5-hours of painting concluded this afternoon with huge amounts of satisfaction!

Good times for sure!
This evening, Dan Welcome and I spent over $500 on lumber and hardware for the next phase of Studio 180 renovations!

Renovation continues tomorrow night!
