Yesterday I had my first dentist-visit in over 10-years. I can’t actually remember the last time I went to the dentist, but I’m sure it’s while I was still in High School in South Carolina. Knowing that I graduated in ’97 that means it’s been 10+ years since my last cleaning!
I’ve never had any tooth-issues, no cavities, etc., so I wasn’t nervous about this visit even when I was told that I finally have my first cavity – a surface cavity that they will fill for me in a couple of weeks. The hygienist remarked that I didn’t have any plaque or tartar build-up and that she was surprised to know that it had been 10-ish years since my last cleaning!
Anyone who knows my “old” Mt. Dew habits should be amazed at my fairly clean bill-of-health in the dental-area!
Speechless.
Sad and speechless.
Tonight Jess and I enjoyed the Mukwonago High School rendition of “The Miracle Worker” – the story of Helen Keller, who I’m not sure why but during the perfomance tonight I realized I had a childhood fascination with this story. Anyone in my family want to clue me into the “why”?
Anyways, as any good youth pastor would do, i snapped a large number of photos during the performance (only one flash, oops!) and some of them turned out! Click the image below to see the album.
