My grandparents were visiting since yesterday and left for home (North Carolina) early this morning. Snapped this photo this morning before their departure –

While my Mom and Dad are visiting, Dad and I decided to tackle one of my house-projects. This one included putting in a door in the parsonage garage wall where there was currently only an opening. This door will partition the “church’s part” of the garage from “our part” of the garage. Here are the before-and-after shots:

We got the door hung, new header built and installed, and the side-wall is studded and ready to be covered! We’re pretty proud of a job well done.

Tomorrow we’ve got numerous options after some early-morning dentist visits. All of our options include a great time to be had by all of us!

This Sheets family hopes to be on the road before 7AM tomorrow morning on our way to Chicago for a festive day of celebration. My sister, Sherilyn, graduates with her Master’s Degree from Wheaton Bible College. We’ll enjoy the day with my parents, my Sheets-grandparents, and numerous other faces that we don’t even know about yet!

My Sheets-grands will be heading back here to Mukwonago for Mother’s Day services Sunday morning, and a special Mother’s Day lunch with us, too. My parents will arrive later in the evening on Sunday and spend a few days here with us.

Tomorrow promises to be the start of an exciting couple of days!
