Obama or McCain

I definitely don’t listen to Howard Stern, but this link came across to me today – it’s a clip from his radio show where he sends one of his guys into Harlem to interview people on the street asking who they’re voting for.

Each interviewee picks Obama, but the interviewer confuses the situation by asking them what about Obama’s beliefs they support – and interjects some of McCain’s beliefs. Listen and enjoy – hs_sal_in_Harlem_100108.mp3

Exhausted.

We’ve been in PA for a week! We’re exhausted!

We’re going to bed early tonight, too!

Big day tomorrow. Two services and then naps in the afternoon (hopefully!) before a carry-in “Welcome Dinner” to introduce our family to the church officially! After dinner we have a youth afterglow.

We’ll be more exhausted tomorrow! Woo-hoo!

This should be interesting. Coming in 2010.

Today’s blog post from Pastor Perry Noble is GREAT! (and will offend some)

Ella woke us up promptly at 6:45AM. A whole 10-minutes before my alarm went off the first time. Thankyouverymuchdaughterofmine.

After enjoying some Wonder Pets episodes on DVD and a cup of coffee I ventured out to the church for my first-day in the office. I arrived in time to catch the final minutes of the Academy chapel that was taking place in the sanctuary (our church also has a Pre-K thru 8th grade Christian Academy).

Staff meeting started at 10AM and I enjoyed almost 4-hours of conversation about my role as assistant pastor of youth ministry with Pastor Tim. I learned a lot today. More than enough to fill my already-overflowing brain.

Tonight we headed out for our first grocery shopping trip. $151 later, we came home with too few bags of needed-items.

I’m seriously considering selling a kidney. Plasma?
