Joel Osteen on Piers Morgan Tonight (literally)

Tonight Pastor Joel Osteen will be on the new Piers Morgan Tonight interview show on CNN. CNN has released a part of the interview to get us to set our schedules/dvrs to make sure we tune in:

This is nothing new on the subject, I don’t think – people continue to want to argue with other people, not what the Word of God says. Piers calls Joel a sort of a “judge” because he stands behind the Scripture and Piers can’t accept that.

Image is Everything

On this Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, I preached a message entitled “Image is Everything”. The message revolved around the importance of us knowing the intrinsic value each of us as humans created in the image of God has. I talked about our culture having “image issues”.

I showed this video to prove that even with our “image issues”, much of what we’re fed from our culture isn’t even truthful…

Interview with a former student – Gene Lyfe Garver

Tonight I had the privilege of video-chatting with (and interviewing) a former student from my first youth pastorate in Warsaw, Indiana. Gene is currently a second-semester Freshman at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Gene is currently writing and producing tracks with his college roommate and together they call themselves “LYFE Ministry”. Check out their Facebook page and their website.
