Archives For General

If you are recovering from the flu and have the time (or if you have 20-minutes of free time available), I think you’ll enjoy this short film, “The Man Who Never Cried”.

Ralph Winston has never cried; not when he was a baby, not when his heart was crushed by his high school sweetheart, not even when he first saw Steven Spielberg’s E.T. So when his father dies, Ralph – at the age of 32 – decides to embark upon a true emotional journey with hopes to shed his first tear before the funeral – and before it’s too late. Starring Keir O’Donnell (Wedding Crashers, Lost), Jess Weixler (Teeth, Peter & Vandy) and Madison Burge (Friday Night Lights seasons 4 & 5), The Man Who Never Cried aims to plumb the depth of human emotion: it’ll make you think, laugh – it might even make you cry.

At The Gathering, Global Partners debuted a new video, “We Are Global Partners”. As my friends at the Techology Podcast have already agreed-with, it was definitely one of the best videos presented at our conference and made me proud to be a part of the Wesleyan Church and excited to see our denomination making leaps in the use-of-technology/video category!

Here is the video:

Now it’s not just those other guys who create high-quality church media!

It has been an amazing few days here in Jacksonville – even though the weather has been less Florida-ish than we would’ve expected/liked.

My buddies at “The Techology Show” have been putting out some great video-interviews with people that I wanted to embed here to share with my readers, too:

I love this…

On New Year’s Eve, one of my favorite bands, “Pomplamoose” was preparing for their LIVE show and decided to do a little backstage live-stream video greeting for those of us who happened to be watching their Twitter feed at the time.

I happened to have my laptop open and clicked the link and happened to be one of the first to do so. I quickly asked them in the chat-window if they’d say, “Hi Jessica” – and they did!
