I’ve been on the Tim Tebow “bandwagon” since I first caught glimpses of Scripture references on his eye black back in his collegiate career at Florida.

I love this auto-tuned music video that came out yesterday about Tebow:

As an avid church media consumer & user, I continue to stumble across some terrific Christmas media during these weeks prior to December 25th. I continue to be impressed with the quality of media being produced by both churches and media-producers, AND am thankful for the availability of that media to be used by churches like mine that have a ZERO next to the “media budget” line item.

Here are a few of my favorites so far this year. Please note that this post will be re-edited as I stumble upon more media that I feel is post-worthy. Be sure and add this post to your favorites and check back every few days.

A True Christmas Story

The Christmas Story

After church this morning I was told about a local family that has gone all-out in decorating with lights not-too-far from our home.

I came home and did a bit more research on the home located at 490 Starr Ave in Chambersburg. I found a newspaper article about the home and the family behind it. As soon as it was dark we decided to venture out and check it out.

Wow.

This was our first experience with a house that has been decorated with synchronized lights. When we pulled up we read signs that instructed us to tune to 90.9FM where we enjoyed “WFL – Wilson Family Lights Radio” which gave some background on the lights and instructed that all donations go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

I managed to snap just a couple of photos with my phone:

I also found a few videos of the decorated house from 2010 on YouTube that gives a small taste of what it is like LIVE:

I now know why it takes FedEx so long to get packages mailed to us:

I’ve been on an Alpine Slide in Gatlinburg, TN, but it was no where NEAR as cool as this one in Austria:

My kids now sing “the guy on a buffalo” at random times throughout the day thanks to this video (and its fantastic 4-parts):
