Had a great lunch yesterday with these two ladies. (Jess and my sister, Sherilyn!)
Sherilyn has been visiting us since last Wednesday. She’ll be with us until sometime this weekend.
She spoke last night at Warsaw Wesleyan and did a great job sharing her heart, passion, and a challenge from the Lord for each of us to use the gifts and abilities He has bless each of us with! It was an honor to sit and listen to my sister share about what the Lord has done through her life in the last year and a half in Bosnia!
Today I spent most of the morning and early-afternoon in Ft. Wayne for a district cabinet meeting. We had a good meeting and had a chance to kind of debrief about LOGOS5 and discuss what each of us enjoyed or didn’t enjoy about the event.
Tonight is Bible study and I can’t wait to discuss this past week’s reading in our One Year Bible!
Just found another helpful link: oneyearbibleblog.com
This website does a daily “commentary” on the readings from the One Year Bible!
Sure the images are a bit cheesy and “old”, but the running commentary is a great place to turn to get helpful insight into each day’s readings.
This may not be obvious to ALL readers, but this commentary is the author’s opinion and should be regarded as such. Some of the information will be factual (places, times, etc.) but otherwise the site is OPINION. Just a heads up.

I’ve uploaded the graphics we used for the EAT THE WORD campaign we’re doing with theBOX this year.

Tonight we had the privilege of enjoying dinner with the newly-married Phil & Steph Stuller.
They met us (including Sherilyn) at Applebee’s tonight after Jess, Me, and Sher took in the Harrison Elementary girls basketball game.
After dinner, the Stullers came over for some coffee and tea and some great visiting time.
They also got to enjoy Stevan’s only “stupid human trick” – the Q-Tip Nose trick!
WARNING: this video is NOT for the “squeemish”!
