Ella and Daddy!

It’s early

Pastor J will be picking me up in the darkness in about 10-minutes. The orange rolls are nearly finished, and I just heard Jess stirring my coffee in my xtra-tall mug!

I have a wonderful wife!

It’s almost 6AM and today will be jam-packed for sure.

Pre-surgery hospital visit this morning, funeral around Noon, and then down to Riley to visit my buddy Andrew.

Conversation will be good along those couple-hundred miles today! I’m thankful for a great friend in my Senior Pastor!

Yesterday I rode my bike through the Byer Farm trails/walkway that runs from Pike Lake to the local hospital and thought to myself, I wish I could share this experience with my family.

Last night I couldn’t stop thinking about getting Ella a bike trailer that we could hook up to one of our bike’s and safely tow her behind us on a bike ride through the neighborhood and even the local trails.

This afternoon I nearly sang the Hallelujah chorus when I found a bike trailer for under 80-bucks at Walmart.com! I quickly called our local store and had them put their last one on hold for me up at customer service.

As soon as we got home from Wal-Mart, I just HAD to put the thing together, get my daughter inside and snap a couple dozen photos. Here’s Ella inside her early birthday present.

Now, if these snow-flurries would end and the temperature would rise, we could go on a family-bike-riding excursion!

Ellasheets.com is getting regular updates thanks to my new friend, Canon’s PowerShot sd1000 that arrived in the mail yesterday! Here’s a nice pic of my new friend:

Ella also stars in this latest video clip taken at IWU in the foyer of the PAC (Performing Arts Center). The acoustics of her voice were quite exciting to her!

One of my students, Andrew Klatt is a 17-year-old young man that is stuck at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

He has been there a majority of the time since the beginning of January this year (not to mention numerous stays throughout his 17-years of life!)

Would you join me in praying for Andrew?

Would you, readers of stevansheets.com, also consider sending him an e-mail through the hospital?

It’s simple, really.

Log on to www.rileychildrenshospital.com and on the left-menu, click “e-mail a patient”

Andrew Klatt is the patient you’re e-mailing, enter your message, your e-mail address, and your name and click “send”!

If you take time to send him an e-mail would you comment here and let me know, too, that you’ve done that?!

I’d really appreciate it if a lot of us would flood Riley’s e-mail servers with e-mails for Andrew this week letting him know that we’re praying for him!
