I’m atleast 1000 miles away from home right now and yet I was able to talk to my wife and daughter via Skype and my webcam as if we were sitting across the table from each other! I miss them mucho!
Archives For General

Just wanted to update quickly about my first two days here in Orlando.
Things are going well. Nothing major to report. Good meeting times, great brainstorming, great problem-solving all followed with great fellowship times with some of my best ministry friends in the world!
Today we did a walk-through of the main convention center area that we will be using in December – lots of promotions-potential there!
Tomorrow will be low-key in the morning and then our FUEL sessions start tomorrow afternoon/early evening.
Tomorrow morning I will be flying to Orlando, Florida for meetings with the promotions committee for SetApart ’07 AND a meeting with 100+ other youth pastors from across the denomination on Thursday and Friday for an event called “FUEL”. I am looking forward to the time of refreshment and challenging words from the speaker, though I am NOT excited about leaving my family here and all the loose-ends I’m leaving behind, too…
Today I spent a greater part of the day with 13 students down in our youth room (Studio 180) priming the walls for a new color of paint that we will be painting in the next couple of weeks. It was a great time with minimal paint wasted on our skin! Some pictures from today’s primer-party are here.
Lately I’ve been working on planning and preparing for a couple of events that are coming up in the month of September. First, our first-ever CROSSROADTRIP – pool party, second – a kick-off celebration and third – a worship concert slash talent-show. Should be an exciting month! I’m posting the advertisement postcards for the events for your viewing pleasure!

It’s 5:48AM.
I’m so excited, and I just cannot hide it.
In 12-minutes (or less) Eric will be picking me up for a geocaching adventure that has been a long time coming.
Involved will be: 2 crazy geocachers, a Dodge Durango, an aluminum canoe, 2 paddles, a lake, and an island.
Video documentation forthcoming.
