Steven Curtis Chapman’s daughter was apparently struck and killed by a vehicle in their driveway today.

The daughter’s name is Maria and she was 5. The driver of the vehicle was Chapman’s teenage son.

Please pray for that family!

Installed one of these today with our church’s head-trustee, Mark. We dug and poured the footer a week ago and finally got the final pieces delivered just yesterday and made time today to get the project finished.

It’s the nicest outdoor hoop I’ve ever played on. It’s fully adjustable from 7’6″ to 10′ and YES, I lowered it to 9-foot and jammed on it dozens of times already! In fact, one of my students, Brad came over tonight and we shot around for almost an hour before Jess and Ella and I headed to our weekly homegroup.

Good times. I can’t wait to make it a daily habit to go play basketball in my backyard!
