Archives For March 2008

So Jess has been reading these “frugal” blogs lately and today I stumbled upon my first one – “The Frugal Dad” and it was great! I learned some stuff that I will eventually be sharing here as we continue our journey towards debt-free living!

I wanted to share one of the things that I did today that cost me nothing and by the end of about 15-minutes netted me about $11.

It’s from a website called “Cash Crate” and for signing up and taking various surveys and giving out your e-mail address, home address and selling your first-born (just kidding) they’ll give you cash towards your account and when you reach the $10 dollar amount they’ll send you a check!

Of course if you click on the banner below and sign up, when you reach the $10 mark I’ll get a kick-back of $3 just for referring you.

A word of wisdom before you sign up for anything like this – be sure and use an e-mail address thats not your “ONLY” e-mail address – I use my gmail address when signing up for offers so that I can be sure and block any potential SPAM that may happen after participating in any online-survey that may in-turn sell my e-mail address to “Joe and his amazing fertility pills”!

Yesterday Ella got a package in the mail from Grand-Garretts that included a healthy amount of bubble wrap. She loved it!

Today she received a package from the Grand-Sheets that included a gift for daddy that quickly became HER favorite!

Even though I’m posting two back-to-back re-posts from a friend’s blog, I just HAD to share this animated GIF goodness!
