Ella Photoshoot

1.17.2008 — 3 Comments

Jess got to enjoy a few hours away from home today so I was solo-parenting this afternoon.

Of course you’d expect nothing less than a new Ella photoshoot:

Photoset here.

By the way, outfit AND hair by Daddy!

I just finished my first episode of “Smash Lab” on the Discovery Channel.

Not bad. The show definitely lived up to its name – I saw more vehicles get smashed into concrete barricades on this show than in the last 28-years of my life!

It seems that this show is definitely a spin-off of Myth Busters. I’m not complaining, I’ll DVR them both every week that they’re new episodes!

More on the show at Discovery’s website.

Internet Radio

I was made aware last night that there are some online gold-mines that I haven’t shared “with the world” via stevansheets.com (or I have and they have missed them somehow)…

One of my online “gold-mines” is the Internet Radio Station that nearly-instantly gets clicked to begin when I get into the office each morning.

TheBlast.FM is my “always aggressive, always progressive” music-choice via iTunes.

They also stream-for-free in various other formats.

Winamp (people still use Winamp?)
Windows Media Player
VLC-format (for Macs & Linux mostly)
REAL Audio (the first thing that gets uninstalled on any new Sheets-household PC!)

Anyways, thought I’d share this “gold-mine” that I enjoy each day. Try it out and let me know if you’re a fan!

Football

This Sunday’s Packers vs. Giants game is causing quite a stir around here!

We had our leadership meeting last night and as a result of the game taking place during our regular youth-meeting time, we are NOT having SNL this week to allow students to fellowship with their friends and family over the game!

If the Pack loses, I can only imagine the rioting that will take place in the streets of every small-town in Wisconsin!

Busy.

It’s almost 4:30 here and I finally feel like I’m at a place where I can catch my breath. This day seems to be non-stop – and it’s not ending early tonight.

I finalized a print-piece that was sent to the printer today. I always look forward to getting back something that is being professionally printed.

VISION meeting tonight with our Youth Leaders. We’ve got a lot of brainstorming to do and some problems to work-through. I enjoy working with our team of leadership – it is a joy to meet with them monthly and work through some of the ‘business’ of CRM and its various entities!
