Tonight was a special night for the Sheets-family. Yes, we feasted, and yes, I remembered to bring the camera!
Just got my first (free!) issue of a brand-new magazine called “Collide”. The tag line for the magazine is “Where media and the church converge” – definitely a tag-line that fits my heart for ministry!
The magazine is very well put together (especially for a first-issue-free release!), it has more articles than I would’ve originally expected for a first-issue, and all of the advertising throughout the magazine relates to the media-in-ministry industry. Good stuff.
My only criticism of the magazine is that they decided to review new albums in the back of the magazine. I read enough OTHER reviews in other magazines that I don’t need MORE reviews in a magazine like this. Thanks, though.
One of my former pastors that I worked with in Warsaw, Dr. Dan Berry and his wife, Shelley were involved in a serious accident yesterday down in Conyers, GA. Dr. Berry is listed in stable condition, but Shelley is still in critical condition after the accident. Updates are being posted to the South Coastal District website – he is the District Superintendent of that district.
