Mark Yaconelli

11.9.2006 — 4 Comments

Today I spent the day up in Syracuse at a seminar by Mark Yaconelli at the Academy at Oakwood.

The seminar was more of a spiritual-renewal retreat and I came away with some great ideas on re-inventing my own spiritual disciplines that I will start implementing in my own life.

Tomorrow I will spend the morning drinking coffee and catching up on some reading at the Tree of Life bookstore in Winona Lake (the old Herald Bookstore) and then I have a lunch meeting with a couple of guys. After lunch we will be taking Ella for her doctor’s appointment and then ready ourselves for the first CONNECTIONS gathering.

CONNECTIONS is a ministry we’re starting at Warsaw Wesleyan for those in their 20’s and 30’s. We’ll be gathering at the home of Shawn & Becky French. CONNECTIONS is a fellowship-based ministry.

Elladorable!

In October, the top 10 search strings that got people to stevansheets.com were:

chevy avalanche
matisyahu
www.stevansheets.com
stevan
100 free digital prints
stevan sheets
mute math
telephone poles
the island movie
chuck e cheese s

Head over to www.annerice.com when you get a second.

Do a little CTRL-F (find) and type in “Stevan”. The first instance of Stevan is followed by my last name, “Sheets” and the two together form a link to my review of Ms. Rice’s book, “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt”!

Ms. Rice herself asked permission to post a link on her site to my review! How cool is that?

QWERTY Warriors

Don’t waste too much time playing today’s game: “QWERTY Warriors“.

Unique concept for a typing game. Destroy the enemies by typing the words that appear under them.

My high score on “EASY” was 70,600.

Can you beat that?
