This is a picture of my dinner tonight.

What’s wrong with it?

Look again – this time at the focused part below:

You ARE seeing correctly.

It IS a contact lens in my McRib sandwich. I wanted to be like my buddy Shawn who found a fingernail in his salsa a few weeks ago.

It was really quite an ordeal here in the Sheets household when this nearly eaten!

If you’re horrified, please remain calm – it’s my contact lens. (how many people won’t read this last sentence?)

Tomorrow morning at approximately 8:30AM, I will be taken to the Kosciusko County Health Clinic and I will be shot.

I will be shot with a Hepatitis B injection, a Polio injection, and a Tetanus injection.

Doesn’t that sound splendid?

I will be shot with such injections for an upcoming trip I will be taking to the country of Haiti:

Yes that’s right, yours truly will be joining a group from our church for a week-long mission trip to Haiti in February!

I can’t wait!

What I CAN wait for is the sore arm that I will no-doubt have tomorrow.

These shots ARE going in my arm, right?

(incidentally, my 6-month-old daughter will also be having some shots tomorrow – not because she’s going to Haiti, but because she’s growing up!)

Jack Link’s beef jerky has a great ad campaign called “Messin With Sasquatch” and if you haven’t seen the four commercials, here’s your chance.

I’ve always wondered if anyone really checks the signature at the bottom of my receipts when I pay for something with my credit card.
So did this guy.

A great article about websites and how much they cost.

“The Most”

10.23.2006 — 2 Comments

This morning I spoke in both morning services on, “God’s Love – Illustrated” – and instead of preaching a regular message, I was encouraged by Pastor J to play 24-minutes of the DVD, “The Most” (translated in Czech to mean “The Bridge”).

It is a powerful illustration of God’s love to mankind through the sacrifice of His one and only Son, Jesus.

More information is available here on the movie.
