Andy Hunter - LifeJess purchased Andy Hunter’s newest album, “Life” for my birthday.

Andy Hunter is “Christian Music’s” Moby in that his music is similar, though I’d say Andy Hunter’s style is more professional!

Andy has been featured on numerous movie soundtracks and trailers. This album’s second track, “Come On” was even featured on the trailer for the film, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. His other tracks have been in films like “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Italian Job”.

His website, www.andyhunter.com, boasts some “coming soon” music downloads.

Josh Garrels - Stone TreeThanks to my buddy and fellow pastor, Glen Robinson, I have been basking in all the goodness that is the “Stonetree” album by Josh Garrels. Twelve-tracks of some of the best “recorded-in-a-bedroom” music I think I’ve ever heard.

Hailing from Indiana, Garrels calls this album an album “which was heavily beat influenced, with elements of folk, spirituals, hip-hop, and spoken word.”

My favorite track is #2 – a continual praise in that it’s only lyric is “Alleluia” over and over again. Surprisingly, Garrels has made this track available for download via this link.

I enjoy track #3 very much because of it’s hip-hop influence.

Reading my buddy Ken Wilson’s post today made me realize how long it has been since I’ve launched the “office webcam”.

Enjoy!

So, today was the twenty-sixth day of my existence.

Thanks Mom & Dad!

We had a great baptism service tonight. We had only two planned to be baptized and at the last minute another dear lady felt the Lord tell her to be baptized! It was quite moving for sure – especially baptizing one of my teens, too!

After the service we were invited out to Hacienda where of course, Lonny & Brenda and Dan & Deana decided to put me on the spot with the full Hacienda Birthday stuff. Great times!
