Jess and I went and saw the first movie in a while at the theater this past weekend. We went with our buddy Phil.
The movie was entertaining, however, the non-entertainment factor kind of distorts the parts that were entertaining.
The movie was FULL of homosexual “humor”, though putting those two words next to each other is an oxymoron to a Christ-follower.
Adam Sandler does his best to be just like he is in every movie. An all-star cast will make this movie a favorite for many movie-goers. I have not seen the original 1974 version (they had movies in ’74?!), but I’d assume that this version was a LOT more on the “edge” than the original.
It was another non child-friendly movie, yet there were numerous families viewing the film in its entirety. I can’t imagine having to explain to a 7-10 year old some of the “humor” that wasn’t humorous in that film.
