This morning I headed to Ft. Wayne for a hospital visit at Lutheran. It was good to visit with this guy and learn a little more about his life, his former ministry, etc. I even found out that his brother (now deceased) is the grandfather of a guy I graduated college with (Eric Orr)!
After the hospital visit, I stopped in Huntington for lunch with my buddy Glen Robinson. Good times there at Burger King talking about ministry, life, God, and how large my double-whopper sandwich was.
After a great venting session I headed back down the road to Warsaw via a country back-road. The weather was GREAT, and driving with the windows down reminded me that there IS more to Indiana than snow and cold weather! (although I really do enjoy the snow)
A long drive through the country (flat, mostly, here in Indiana) inspired me to once again remember just how big that God we serve really is.
Men’s small group meeting tonight. I look forward to eating some Hacienda chips with my brothers tonight!
