it’s late

It’s late.
This update is long overdue, and for those of you who can’t handle peering into the lives that are stevansheets.com, I’m truly sorry.

This has been quite the weekend.

Not a lot to tell, except that an all-nighter at an elementary school is quite the undertaking. It was a good time.

Saturday was “sleep” day – making up for staying up all night with a couple-hundred 4, 5, and 6th graders.

Sunday was a great day. Talked to Sherilyn in the afternoon and enjoyed both the AM worship time and the PM worship – where Pastor Scott is leading a series on The Lord of the Rings movies! Pretty interesting.

Today Jess and I were both off of work, so we headed out of town for the day – a much needed “break” in our crazy lives. We first headed to Marion where I needed to be at a Senior High Camp meeting at JC Bodyshop. Afterwards, lunch and then back on the road. We arrived in Indianapolis after 2PM and enjoyed the afternoon and evening with our friends Kory Pence and Chris Magee.

I missed those guys.

Kory treated Stevan and Jess to a movie: “Hitch”, and dinner at PF Changs! I’m telling you what – that guy and that business he runs (underfiresolutions.com) are pretty incredible!

It’s now about 5-till midnight and I’m honestly more tired than I’ve been in a long time!

I’m looking forward to getting back into the office tomorrow!

  1. dont forget how easily u get sick – u know like the old victorian women who couldn’t exert themselves too much. is it bad that u remind me of one of them? thanks for the call Stev! it was awesome! Ur a good brother – a very good brother. love u – and take care of ur frail state.

  2. “Frail”? You guys have never been frail! Mom and I are proud of you both! Dad

  3. Your sister Sherilyn Ann, is also prone to get sick when over tiring her body, not just you! You get that from you mother (sorry about that)! Please do take care of Jessica and of yourself!

Praying for the heavy burdens on your hearts and on ours!! God can move mountains and settle an angry ocean with His voice!

    Love you lots!
