Your Name

This link proved VERY interesting.

I found out the following:

“Stevan” ranked #822 out of the top 1,000 names given to boys in the 1950’s! The 1950’s was the only decade where “Stevan” even came up and only 22 out of 1,000,000 boys born during that decade were named “Stevan” in the 1950’s!

other names I looked up:

“Sherilyn” – doesn’t even rank! (Sherilyn’s name is more rare than MINE?!)

“Jessica” – ranked #1 out of the top 1,000 names given to girls in the 1980’s! 14,500 out of 1,000,000 girls born in the 80’s were given the name “Jessica”!

“Stacia” – (my older sister’s name) – ranked #678 out of the top 1,000 names given to girls in the 1970’s. 80 out of 1,000,000 girls were given the name “Stacia” in the 1970’s.

I’m pretty sure I could stay at that site all day long, but there is work to do!

I’ve been cleaning-house all day long (besides taking NUMEROUS breaks to watch as much hunting/fishing as one person can watch in a given day!)

theBOX was great last night. I challenged each teen to give something up for the next 40-days for Lent. It was interesting to see what some of them are willing to give up to increase their faith!

::iTUNES CAP UPDATE:: – still only have 1 cap! :(

Well, I just want to make sure the world knows that I just love, love, love that picture of Baby Stev. If there was ever a little boy I wanted to kidnap, it was him. He was sooooo soft and happy. I know the soft turned to ‘muscle’, but thank the Lord that you retained that happy, positive, tender hearted spirit.

  3. I must agree, Aunt Bonnie! Quite adorable! :-)

  4. Hahahaha! I prefer to be refered to as a “rare jewel” from now on. or “your rareness” or “Miss inimitability” (i found that word by checking Word’s thesaurs on rareness! Ctl F7!!!) cool parents (weed was not involved – or so they claim).

  5. Well, well! As your mother, please let me clarify here…
All three of you children were “rare jewels”.. treasured gifts, that God blessed us with, to love and raise!

Sherilyn, NO we did not have altering influences in our minds or our bodies!
We only had peace – baby, peace!

Stevan I do love to see everytime I get on here, that darling picture of that precious son we enjoyed raising! You were not into too much at that age! So innocent were those days!

    Love you boy!

  6. Mom Garrett (Lee Ann), Are you wondering what I am from this post?!! Huummm? Wonder?? Could it be? Is he just doing it subtlety?

Sher, what do you think? Do you think what I am thinking? Could it be? Surely he wouldn’t use the impersonal public nature of this mode?!!!??

Let me know what you think!

    MomMe (Sally)

  7. I’m confused…

Yes, Sally, that baby pic of Stevan, did get my mind and heart beating fast just thinking “could it be”?? But, I spent the day with Jessica today (2/11/05) and nothing of that sort even surfaced in our conversation. Someday it will be great won’t it!!!!

  10. Just for kicks:
    Judith: 70s – 255, 80s – 394, 90s – 480
